Last year the Ottawa Lynx Triple A baseball team held a Harry Potter day before the release of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Given the success of that event, they will be holding another Harry Potter day on May 30, 2004, just before the release of the Prisoner of Azkaban movie.
Here's where you come in. They've asked Convention Alley to help them find some people to take part in this event. HP fans, ideally fans willing to dress up and help them have fun. There will be games and prizes, though those will most likely be geared toward the children in the stands.
If you're interested in joining some of the Convention Alley volunteers for the afternoon, we'll happily welcome you on board. Those interested in donning robes or hats, waving wands or just coming to enjoy the ballgame are all welcome to participate. Your children and friends included!
Free admission, however, is NOT part of the package. Should enough people be interested (20 or more), we will receive discounted tickets. Regular ticket prices range from $7.00 - $11.00. Discounted tickets range from $5.50 - $8.50.
